Locally owned, this ski service goes above and beyond all the rest! Exceptional in Europe - Top notch staff that are eager to help and always have a smile on their face. You can reserve your skis online - they'll deliver and adjust on the spot at your accommodation. They also allow you to switch out skis during your rental period depending on the conditions....sweet! They have shops in town Verbier or on the mountain making it very convenient to store skis along with your boots and other equipment rather than schlepping them home each night...straight to apres! They sell passes and rent anything you may need. They will also store your friends' equipment even if they aren't renting from them.....because they know that great customer service leads to others knowing them and buying or renting from their store. Also to note - they have free demo days on Wednesdays for cross country skis and Sundays for downhill. I tried out two pairs of DPS demo skis for free. They have amazing deals on these skis right now.

The equipment is in great shape and well maintained. They guys in the shop know their gear and made excellent recommendations. They were extremely accommodating when we needed to change boots and wanted to try other skis. Best part - even though they get busy, their attitude stayed fun, positive and helpful. A great all around experience.

We booked our rentals and tickets with Ski Service before we arrived in Switzerland. The on line process was very easy and straightforward -they have everything you need. When we arrived in Verbier we didn’t realize they had a shop in the Hotel Montpelier where we were staying. We went to the main shop and they easily accommodated our request to pick up and drop off our equipment in the hotel instead. That could not have been easier - Tomas was fantastic! My boots didn’t fit quite right so I went to the Ski Service shop on the mountain where they quickly changed them out and got me back on my way. I couldn’t have asked for better service.

Can’t say enough good words for those guys and gals. Their service is above and beyond what you would usually expect for such business. Extremely helpful. Flawless adjustments and exchanges of ski gear when needed. Their shop at the first stop of the Gondola is super convenient. They made our skiing experience at Verbier a breeze. Would highly recommend

James and Matt in the shop at Ruinettes treated us like family. They were friendly; helpful; advised on ski, board, and boot selection; and were there to deal with whatever problem emerged with out gear. Being in Ruinettes meant that we could drop in for repairs or a change of equipment without losing precious skiing time. It also meant that everything could be left there in the evening and picked up in the morning thereby avoiding the torture of carrying it around Verbier. This was the second time that we used Ski Service and we will do so again on our next visit.

My wife and I rented skis from Ski Service in town. They are within easy walking distance of most every lodging in the area. The technicians were friendly and helpful. Also, it was a nice surprise to learn they have a shop at the top of the mountain. That was awesome to be able to wear comfy shoes up the gondola, grab our equipment for the day, then return the skis and get back into comfy shoes for the ride back down to the bottom!

Ordered skis for the week online ahead of time (easy and online discount). Fitting was efficient and organized despite quite a crowd when we arrived. Excellent equipment and service. Main location is central and close to Medran lift, but the best feature is their new mid-mountain ski shop at Les Ruinettes. You can actually pick up your gear there as well, but we were fitted and picked up our gear the first day at the main store. We were able to store our gear at the mid-mountain shop every night (free of charge) and pick up warm toasty boots/gear in the morning (left our shoes there during the day). Not having to start the morning lugging gear to the lift was a great feature! The people working in both shops were very helpful and friendly. Highly recommend them for anyone looking to rent equipment during their stay!

We used Ski Service to buy our ski passes and hire skis during our ski holiday. They delivered the skis and passes to our apartment in le Chable ( fitted skis etc in the apartment ) we then used their shop up the mountain (Ruinettes) to store skis and boots overnight (and our comfortable shoes during the day). No problem at all when our son snapped a ski and when we left today they were doing a free ski test. What sets these guys apart are their staff EVERYONE who works there is friendly and fun and great to be around. Sebastian in particular was always happy to help. Honestly this is the best service I have ever had from any hire shop anywhere, I can't recommend them highly enough.
